Every seat on this board is held by somebody who lives in Northwest Landing. Meetings are open, books are open, and seats come up for election every two years.

Coordinates programs, block captains and volunteer teams; chairs meetings when the president is away.

Block captains
Twenty-four neighbors watching, welcoming and connecting their own streets. Each captain keeps a contact list and runs the block's group text.
Bloom & environment committee
Leads gardens, tree plantings, lot clean-ups and the Neighborhood In Bloom entries every season.
Youth council
Teens leading garden crews, clean-ups, media and neighborhood storytelling — with two voting seats at the general meeting.
How to run for a seat
Leadership rotates on purpose. If you have been thinking about it, this is your sign.

Be a member
Membership is free. Anyone who lives, rents, owns property, worships or runs a business in the footprint qualifies.

Attend three meetings
Candidates attend at least three general meetings in the year before elections so neighbors know your face and your work.

Get nominated
Nominations open at the fall general meeting. Any member can nominate you, and you can nominate yourself.

Elections
Officers serve two-year terms elected by voice or paper ballot at the annual meeting. Committee chairs are appointed yearly.
