Vests, flashlights and good conversation. Newcomers walk with an experienced block captain.
Garden & Bloom Day
1st Saturday · 9:00 AMCommunity garden beds
Planting, weeding and harvest share. Youth crew hours count toward school service credit.
Clean-Up Crew
3rd Saturday · 9:00 AMRotating blocks
Bulky item haul-off, alley clearing and lot mowing. Tools, bags and gloves supplied.

Annual Neighborhood Block Party
The whole footprint shuts down a street for food, music, games, vendor tables from our Buy Black directory and a resource fair.

Youth Summer Garden Crew
Paid summer positions for teens tending beds, running the produce stand and mentoring younger kids.
Quarterly
Safety & Lighting Audit Night
Walk the blocks, log dark corners and broken lights, then submit the list to the city together.
